Adrian Claudius-Cole is an innovative, creative, entrepreneurial and business minded Electro-Mechanical engineer. Cultural diversity has been at the core of his upbringing, as he was originally born in England, and has lived in Sierra Leone, South Africa, England, and the United States of America. He graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, South Africa where he has worked since graduation. In early 2018 Adrian returned to the U.S.A and is now a resident of Broward County, Florida.
During his early career, Adrian worked directly with inventors, entrepreneurs and startups solving challenging problems through innovative design, development and manufacturing of electro-mechanical products. In his professional and personal capacity Mr. Claudius-Cole has developed over 30 different products ranging from medical devices, marine engines, fitness equipment, physiotherapy machines, to household and consumer products, and aerospace components. He has experience in various industries including marine, aerospace, web applications and bespoke product design. Adrian currently works for Dometic Corporation, a global leader in the design and manufacture of mobile living solutions.
His passion for engineering and technology contributes to his efforts in becoming a global leader in product development and commercialization.
Through collaborating with other professionals, business leaders, investors and local community leaders, Mr. Claudius-Cole aims to develop his vision for minority engineering and technology innovation centers, with the first one being in Broward County, Florida. This local hub will focus on supporting, mentoring, teaching and exposing minorities to engineering and technology careers and entrepreneurship. The center will also have a focus on incubating, accelerating and funding minority owned engineering and technology start-ups.
