Who is the ideal NLC Fellow?

Any person that considers himself or herself a progressive. Generally, Fellows are individuals in their twenties & thirties, early/mid-level professionals, who have found burgeoning success in their career path, and would like to join the NLC community to take their path to the next level.  An applicant should demonstrate their future promise by showing:

  1. Serious, career-long commitment to building a progressive infrastructure;
  2. Executive potential – indicating the ability to lead;
  3. Entrepreneurial spirit – having the desire to take risks to pursue opportunity; and,
  4. A team orientation, confidence, and humility—being the type of person who supports others.

Also, each NLC Fellow abides by the NLC Honor Code (read the Honor Code).

New Leaders Council is a 501 (c) (3) public charity dedicated to educating a new generation of leaders and to providing those leaders with the tools they need to succeed. NLC does not engage in political or legislative activities of any kind, does not support or oppose any candidate for public office, and serves only as an educational leadership training ground.
