The New Leaders Council Institute is an intense, five-month progressive entrepreneurship training program. It is the premier leadership and professional development, training, mentoring, networking, and career and political advancement program for young professionals.
Applications open on Tuesday, September 2. Applications close for most chapters at 11:59 pm on Tuesday, November 12. Applications for Louisiana and Omaha close at 11:59 pm on Tuesday October 14. Unless you apply to both San Francisco and Oakland, you may only apply to one chapter.
The NLC Fellows are successful in their industry, risk-takers, and progressive advocates. Fellows have to commit to one weekend per month for five months in which each Fellow, along with 15 - 20 or their peers participate in trainings on topics from messaging to finance to political management. By filling out this form, you are requesting, but are not being granted, a waiver for the Institute application fee. You will be contacted with next steps for completing your online application. You do not have to wait until you are contacted about the acceptance of your waiver in order to complete the written portion of your application.

New Leaders Council is a 501 (c) (3) public charity dedicated to educating a new generation of leaders and to providing those leaders with the tools they need to succeed. NLC does not engage in political or legislative activities of any kind, does not support or oppose any candidate for public office, and serves only as an educational leadership training ground.
