New Leaders Council

NLC's WCC and the Millennial Connection

Millennials hold power in the coming years. Using new tools in social media and tech, traditional boundaries no longer exist. In about a week, the first of the most powerful conversations for millennials, NLC's West Coast Conversation, will occur in Silicon Valley.
...this year, Millennials make up 24% of those eligible to vote."Will Millennials Vote for Barack Obama Again in November 2012?".policymic

We will be hearing from Chris Kelly, West Coast Conversation Chair and Director at Loyal3, about our progressive economy.  Cheryl Contee, Partner at Fission Strategy and one of the leading women in tech and social media, will be a panelist discussing how we have and can use technology for effective political and social change.

We are holding this important conversation in the technological epicenter of our nation, but our guests and panelists span the country. Adam Edelen, Kentucky State Auditor, will lead us in a discussion on the evolution of "progressive".

Co-founder of Generation Forty Four, Andrew Korge will share thoughts regarding political action and the next generation of leaders; we will have plenty of insight on the "Millennial Makeover" and the current political information age from authors Morley Winograd and Michael Hais.
Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future. John F. Kennedy

The people and ideas at this conversation will shape the political landscape of the next few years.

Register now and join NLC is this bold endeavor.
